Mandarin

During my time in Singapore, it was mandatory for all students to take 6 years of mandarin. This meant that I began mandarin nursery rhymes at age six, and spent much of my early years immersed in mandarin. However, like most kids, I struggled to enjoy language learning— especially when I didn’t get along with my teachers. This meant that I would  drop the class only restart learning it at age 14, because I didn’t enjoy Spanish either. However, this would change my views and opinions o mandarin, letting me enjoy learning much more. Before I knew it, I spent my school days excited to go to my Mandarin teacher’s house, in hopes that she would let me make jiao zi that day.
