bullet journaling

Alongside many other kids who grow up with YouTube, I quickly became infatuated with bullet journaling— originally intended to be a diy planer type book, I watched several YouTubers make their very own, individual planners. My 14 year old self loved this, and instantly decided to hop on the trend. Little did I know that this would become a hobby of mine that would span many years and evolve greatly. While much of my old bullet journals are heavily academic and more like a planner and less of a journal, I saw them evolve as time flew. I began to only do things I enjoy (collages, diary entries, art works, brainstorms, and watch lists) and quickly abandoned what I thought was not useful (calendars, daily spreads, monthly pages etc). Something that I had joined because of a trend had now become something completely my own. Bullet journaling is something I hold close to my heart as it is one way in which I can express myself and my interests in a tangible, visible way.
